Yes! Yujin’s gentle maneuverings are SO fascinating to watch. He’s definitely my favorite part of the books.

Chapter 79

Oh interesting, is Yujin starting to suspect that Changsu isn’t actually supporting Prince Yu?

I believe so. It's a bit clearer in the novel. He starts saying it but then decides he's mistaken.

Chapter 80

Didn’t this game go differently in the novel, like with Banruo there, and to accomplish something else? (Maybe in part because Xia Dong doesn’t have a twin brother in the series.)

Yes, I noticed that too. In the drama, both Nihuang and Xia Dong accompanied the other disciple from Xuanjing Bureau.

From my recollection, the objective in the drama was the same (to test how hidden the tunnel entrance was, with one of the Xia disciples being a major
music nerd?), with Banruo and Prince Yu’s presence and ulterior nosiness adding to the tension. Also gave a chance for Xia Dong and Nihuang to interact more, which I love!
