excaliburedpan and I both happen to be reading this danmei book at the moment, so I thought I'd throw up a post for any comments if anyone wants to read along now or later, and shove my locked-twitter read-along thoughts somewhere more accessible. I'm going to break it up by blocks of chapters, then do an Overall Thoughts subsection. Assume spoilers.

I could read Shen Yuan's bitch forum thirstposts all day, tbh why has no one written like, chapters of PIDW as fic/artefact fiction with Shen Yuan's hateration?

- so if Airplane died cursing Cucumber, it could be why Cucumber transmigrated--also bless Yuan trying to de-escalate the forum fight, born to be a Tired magical hs teacher

- It's got to be p fucking creepy to watch a body you've occupied for the better part of a decade, which is maybe the only adult body you've known, younger than you ever were in it, not controlled by you, killing a lot of people

- Jiu's torture arc is very oblique. are there implicit or explicit prohibitions on even discussing the options, here? sadism, CSA, cultivational abuse (like as a cauldron?)?

- god and when BingGe tears his fucking arm off in the dream what he IMMEDIATELY WANTS is for Binghe to make him feel safe and/or not to spoil his opinion of Binghe?? he's like GOSH I HOPE THIS DOESN'T CAUSE ME TO UNCONSCIOUSLY RESENT BINGHE--
